September 6th  3 p.m. - 7 p.m. at the Babylon Elementary School Field  (raindate is September 13th)


Please join your friends and neighbors in Babylon Village for the Third Annual Family Fun Day on Saturday, September 6th (raindate is September 13th) from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Babylon Elementary School Field. $10 per adult and $5 per child. Includes a barbecue, drinks and dessert! Please bring your own chairs or picnic blankets. All proceeds benefit The Mike Greene Great Guy Foundation! The Mike Greene Great Guy Foundation was founded in 2007 by friends of Mike in his memory. The purpose of the Foundation is to raise funds and donate those funds to help families and individuals in need in Babylon Village and its surrounding communities. 501(3)(c) approved. CAN YOU HELP?

Our local food pantries are in need of our help. If you can donate any non-perishable items, please bring them to our socials or our upcoming softball game or give me a call for a pickup.

BVWC Positions Available

There are a few positions that are available in the BVWC for 2008. If you are interested in any of these or would just like to find out what each position entails, please email Susan Meyerson and I’ll give you all the fun details. Positions available are: New Member Liaison (hosts 2 new member teas), and Publicity (contacts local area papers on any upcoming events that the public can attend or to let them know of our charitable donations like we will be doing in February when we give out our donations to our local charities).

The Nathaniel Conklin Award for Outstanding Volunteer Service in the Village of Babylon is currently looking for applicants who have acted voluntarily to enhance Babylon Village. If you know of anyone who deserves this honor, please pick up a nomination form and a candidate’s form at the Village Clerk’s office, Village Hall, or the Babylon Beacon Office on Deer Park Avenue.
